Knowlium respects intellectual-property rights and responds to notices of alleged infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). We remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material expeditiously upon a valid notice.

Filing a takedown notice
A valid notice under § 512(c)(3) must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on Yentl.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed or disabled, you may submit a counter-notice under § 512(g) that includes: identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and telephone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where Knowlium may be found); and your signature.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, Knowlium will disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
